On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, the University of Al-Hamdaniya welcomed the ministerial committee assigned to oversee inspections of university laboratories and storage facilities, as part of efforts to implement safety and security measures related to chemical, biological, and radiological substances. The committee‘s mandate also includes the inventory of hazardous materials, dual-use substances, and those potentially involved in narcotics manufacturing.
The committee was received by Prof. Dr. Nash’at Mubarak Sliwa, President of the University, along with Prof. Dr. Khazaal Yaseen Mustafa, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Riyadh Mubarak Abdullah, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Rabee Hazem Salman, Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences.
During the visit, the committee reviewed the laboratories of the Departments of Biology and Physics in the College of Education for Pure Sciences.

The committee was also accompanied by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs and the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences on a field tour of the university campus site in Karamles. The members provided observations and recommendations and commended the performance and operations of the laboratories.
