Professor Dr. Nashaat Mubarak Saliwa, President of the University of Al-Hamdaniya, participated in the launch conference of the Higher Education Electronic Identity. The event was held under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and attended by the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Higher Education, senior ministry officials, presidents of public and private universities, the President of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, and a large number of students.
In his address, the Minister affirmed that the Ministry has made a strategic decision to move toward comprehensive digitization of the university environment through the implementation of 120 electronic systems that serve students. He noted that the launch of the electronic identity represents a milestone in the path of digital transformation and smart governance for Iraq’s educational institutions.
The conference featured speeches, presentations on the Ministry’s digital transformation strategy, and live demonstrations showcasing how the university electronic identity will be utilized.
