Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Sliwa, President of the University of Al-Hamdaniya, participated in the celebratory conference titled “Baghdad: Arab Capital of Tourism 2025,” organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research under the guidance of Minister Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi. The event was held in collaboration with the Permanent National Committee for Community Awareness and Guidance in the Office of the Prime Minister. Dr. Sliwa attended in his capacity as a member of the Higher Supervisory Committee overseeing the conference.
The conference featured a keynote address by Dr. Adnan Ibrahim Al-Jumaili, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, who emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to supporting institutional partnerships that position Baghdad as a hub for academic, cultural, and tourism activities.
