Under the patronage and presence of Professor Nashaat Mubarak Sliwa, President of Al-Hamdaniya University, the Department of Electronic Computing, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center and the Cybersecurity Directorate, organized a workshop titled “Cybersecurity in the Age of Digital Transformation.” The session was led by Brigadier General Dr. Hassan Hadi Latheeth, Director of the Cybersecurity Directorate at the Ministry of Interior.
The workshop was also attended by Professor Khazaal Yassin Mustafa, Vice President for Scientific Affairs, along with several university officials and staff members.
The workshop aimed to familiarize participants with core cybersecurity concepts, discuss modern protection tools and techniques used in securing systems and information, explore methods of data protection, password management, and promote safe practices in using communication platforms.
