In preparation for National Tree Planting Day, observed annually on March 12th, University President Professor Nash’at Mubarak Saliwa held an extensive meeting with department heads and directors of relevant divisions.
During the meeting, held in his office on Tuesday morning, March 10, 2026, Professor Saliwa directed all university staff—technical, logistical, service, and preparatory—to intensify their efforts and maintain continuous follow-up to ensure the event is held at a level befitting the university.
Tree Planting Day will include a flower exhibition, workshops on the environment and agriculture, and discussions on supporting green spaces, along with activities promoting green culture and the creation of environmentally friendly communities and institutions.
