Abdul-Amir Ghazi Salem, a former student of the College of Education for Human Sciences – Department of Arabic Language, presented his doctoral dissertation as a gift to the University President, Prof. Dr. Nashat Mubarak Saliwa, in loyalty to his alma mater from which he graduated with both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.
President Saliwa received Dr. Salem in his office, who recently earned his PhD from Tikrit University in the Philosophy of Arabic Language and Literature, specializing in Modern Literature. His dissertation was titled (Values in the Diwan of Sheikh Ahmed Al-Waeli, d. 2003).
Saliwa praised Dr. Salem’s initiative, describing it as a noble scholarly bond between students and their graduating university, as they continue their research journeys and achieve the highest levels of excellence in academic pursuits.
For his part, Dr. Salem expressed his gratitude to Al-Hamdaniya University, describing it as the most critical stage of his
educational journey, and emphasizing his commitment to maintaining ongoing communication with the university in appreciation of its role as his alma mater.
