University President Professor Nashat Mubarak Saliwa held an extensive meeting with the Faculties of Education for Pure Sciences and Computer Science and Informatics, as part of a series of meetings. During the meeting, they discussed the publication of scientific research in international databases and its role in achieving higher rankings in internal and external classifications, in addition to the ongoing efforts to achieve academic accreditation for the scientific departments.
The university president emphasized that financial grants are offered for research published in Scopus and Clarivate Analytics databases to encourage and motivate professors to continue their research work. He explained that research published in accredited databases is a key indicator used by international rankings.
