Al-Hamdaniya University signs a cooperation agreement with the High Commission for Human Rights, as part of its initiative to engage with government institutions and strengthen partnerships aimed at community service.

The agreement was signed at the office of the University President, Prof. Dr. Nashat Mubarak Saliwa, on Tuesday morning, April 14, 2026. The signing ceremony was attended by the Director of the Commission’s Office – Nineveh Branch, Mr. Yasser Dhiaa Saeed, and the Senior Legal Advisor and Head of the Women and Children’s Affairs File, Ms. Mafaz Younis Khalil.

The agreement includes provisions for organizing joint workshops, seminars, and conferences, as well as training courses dedicated to protecting human rights. Furthermore, it aims to promote a culture of safeguarding individuals and their rights during periods of crisis and war.
