The General Secretariat of the Holy Hussaini Shrine delivered a shipment of fire extinguishers to Al-Hamdaniya University as part of a joint cooperation initiative aimed at enhancing services and strengthening public safety measures.
Late Tuesday evening, April 14, 2026, the shipment arrived at the university premises. It was formally received by the Head of the Administration Department, Mr. Osama Mubarak Abdullah, during an official ceremony attended by several university staff members and civil defense personnel. Expressing their gratitude to the Shrine, the university representatives praised the initiative for its role in boosting emergency preparedness and ensuring a safe academic environment for students, faculty, and staff.
For its part, the University Presidency stated that this initiative is part of a joint cooperation mechanism with the Shrine. It commended the Shrine’s humanitarian and community-focused role in supporting various sectors, noting that such efforts embody the spirit of cooperation and solidarity between religious and academic institutions to serve the public interest and consolidate a culture of safety and prevention
