The Agricultural Unit – Department of Administrative Affairs (Diwan) – continues the afforestation of the university gardens as part of the campaign launched at the beginning of the 2025–2026 academic year, aimed at increasing green spaces.
The Agricultural Unit staff have commenced tree-planting in both internal and external gardens within the vicinities of the Colleges of Education for Humanities and Pure Sciences, as well as the Colleges of Law and Administration and Economics, and the University Presidency building. During these efforts, dozens of trees, plants, and flowers were planted.
The university’s afforestation efforts are part of its “Green Project,” which aims to create an eco-friendly campus environment that provides a suitable atmosphere for faculty, staff, and students. As the university experiences a flourishing spring season, the Agricultural Unit technicians have intensified their efforts in preparation for the upcoming summer season.
