Based on the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Apparatus, and pursuant to the letter from the Scientific Evaluation Department – Measurement and Evaluation Division, No. (GA/QT/5759) dated December 24, 2024, regarding the Joint Examination Mechanism, and within the framework of scientific cooperation memorandums and twinning agreements concluded with Al-Maamoun University College, The Iraqi University of Sciences, and Al-Noor University, the University of Al-Hamdaniya organized a series of joint examinations with its counterparts in private universities.
The examinations covered the Colleges of Education for Humanities (Departments of Arabic and English), the College of Education for Pure Sciences (Department of Computer Science), and the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, in collaboration with (Al-Maamoun, Iraqi Sciences, and Al-Noor Private) universities.
The organization of these exams comes in implementation of Ministry instructions requiring public universities to supervise joint examinations with private universities for levels beyond the first year, covering two academic subjects. Furthermore, this initiative aims to activate twinning agreements and enhance academic cooperation between educational institutions.
The examinations were conducted on Monday, April 13, 2026, in Babylon Hall at the University of Al-Hamdaniya, as well as in classrooms at the participating universities
, under the supervision of specialized committees from the University of Al-Hamdaniya.
