The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Nashat Mubarak Saliwa, discussed with a number of Al-Hamdaniya’s elites the enhancement of ties with the academy to foster a society that actively engages with vital issues.
During a meeting with Dr. Fadhil Yousif Abbo Qasha, the former director of the Mixed Teachers’ Training Institute, and Ms. Hanaa, a teacher and researcher in Syriac heritage, Dr. Saliwa explored expanding relations between these elites and the educational institution to enrich the university with diverse knowledge and expertise.
Dr. Saliwa pointed out that the university remains open to the city’s intellectuals and elites, emphasizing its commitment to drawing inspiration from their remarkable experiences in the educational, cultural, and heritage fields.
For their part, the university’s guests praised the President’s efforts in building open scientific and cultural relations, which serve to strengthen the academic role within the community.
