Women’s Affairs Unit
Women’s Affairs Unit
The Women’s Affairs Unit represents the endeavors made by our esteemed university, the University of Al-Hamdaniya, to achieve complementary equality between men and women in various fields, enhance women’s rights, and provide directed support and care programs, thereby improving their work environment across all sectors. Based on Ministerial Order No. 11/4/H/479 on July 6, 2021, this unit was established on October 7, 2021. This stems from the university leadership’s deep belief that the process of improving and developing any society is incomplete without the active participation of women.
This belief has been embodied at the university level, where women hold many leadership positions, serving as heads of departments, units, and service or scientific centers. This unit is the translation of the university’s pursuit to enhance the capabilities of female leaders and to empower women socially, educationally, economically, and health-wise, both inside and outside the university, as they are a vital element of society’s strength.
Vision: To elevate women to a position where their rights are guaranteed, making them active and productive members of society.
Mission: To provide activities, raise awareness, and educate the community to ensure the protection of women’s rights.
