  • Managing the plan for planned, completed, and published research.

  • Following up on and documenting the research published by the faculty of the University of Al-Hamdaniya in global repositories such as Scopus and Clarivate.

  • Following up on honoring researchers from our university.

  • Preparing studies that aim to develop the scientific publishing process at the university.

  • Organizing workshops and symposiums to develop the research environment for the university’s faculty.

  • Preparing the central scientific plan for conferences, symposiums, and workshops for each year and uploading it within the “Nadwati” (My Symposium) program.

  • Coordinating scientific activities (conferences, symposiums, and workshops) with other ministries or external entities.

  • Submitting data to the Ministry for the purpose of including it within UNESCO activities.

  • Documenting awards inside Iraq and the mechanisms for honoring them.

  • Preparing studies and proposals, expressing academic opinions, and providing the necessary recommendations.

  • Following up on the issuance of scientific journals in the university’s colleges and centers.

  • Supervising the formation of editorial and advisory boards for scientific journals at the university.

  • Following up on the decisions of the ministerial committee for evaluating scientific journals and monitoring their implementation by the colleges.

  • Following up on the uploading of scientific journals to the Iraqi Academic Scientific Journals (IASJ) website, as well as the university’s website.

  • Following up on the roadmap plan to include the university’s journals in global scientific repositories.

  • Forming the central scientific committee for books and authored works at the university.

  • Implementing the mechanism for accrediting scientific journals.

  • Managing book gifting and the exchange of publications.
