The university president, Prof. Dr. Nashaat Mubarak Salwa, held an extensive meeting with the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department and a number of professors and instructors. During the meeting, the importance of scientific publishing in reputable global databases, especially Scopus and Clarivate, was emphasized, as these play a pivotal role in enhancing international university rankings and raising academic reputation. Salwa explained during the meeting that research published in approved databases is considered a key indicator used by global rankings. He stressed the need to focus research efforts on qualitative publications in journals indexed within Scopus and Clarivate, which contributes to an active presence of the university in international rankings and reflects the scientific rigor of its faculty.
