The Department of Electronic Calculator held a scientific workshop explaining the mechanisms of publishing research in high-level academic journals, aiming to assist researchers and students in publishing their work within international databases.

The workshop, which took place on Monday morning, March 30, 2026, at the Theater Hall, was presented by Assistant Lecturer Marthad Hussein Sabri. He highlighted the process of selecting appropriate journals, understanding international indexing standards such as Web of Science and Scopus, and identifying the Impact Factor and CiteScore, as well as how to avoid predatory or “fake” journals.

Titled “Roadmap for Publishing in High-Impact Academic Journals,” the workshop aimed to enhance the scientific publishing skills of university students and researchers. It also sought to raise awareness about the importance of academic engagement with high-impact journals, thereby supporting the university’s research progress.
