Retirement Division
Retirement Division
Retirement marks the conclusion of the legal duration of a faculty or staff member’s professional career, representing the formal end of the employment relationship. It is considered one of the most significant rights, with regulations and laws varying from one country to another.
This division is responsible for monitoring the ages of faculty and staff based on the official age-certification decisions documented in their personal files. It initiates communication with the University Presidency to process retirements in accordance with the University Service Law and the Unified Retirement Law No. 9 of 2014 (as amended). Furthermore, the division issues “Relinquishment of Office” orders and coordinates with the National Retirement Pension Agency—after organizing the service record book—to facilitate the allocation of retirement pensions.
