Al-Hamdaniya University held its regular expanded meeting of the Consultant Experts Committee, in implementation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s directives regarding the mechanism for preparing and updating academic curricula for the (2026–2027) academic year across all Iraqi universities.

The meeting was chaired by Professor Dr. Amer Ashour Abdullah, Assistant Dean of the College of Law for Scientific Affairs, in the presence of the Consultant Experts Committee members, including assistant deans for scientific affairs, as well as the Director of the Quality Assurance Department and the Director of the Studies and Planning Department.

The meeting aimed to review and develop academic curricula to enhance academic performance and meet international quality standards. This was achieved through discussing proposed curricula and adopting preparation mechanisms in accordance with approved educational systems.

Furthermore, the meeting addressed the completion of curricula preparation in coordination with Industrial Advisory Boards to define graduate skills that align with labor market requirements. It also covered reviewing credit units, course descriptions, and activating the annual curricula update process.
