As part of Al-Hamdaniya University’s strategy to enhance international engagement through publication in global periodicals, Dr. Noora Hashim Mohammed, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the College of Computer Science and Informatics, has published a research paper in a Scopus-indexed journal (Q2 category).
The research, published in the “International Journal of Intelligent Engineering and Systems,” is titled:
“Interpretable Memory-behavior Modeling for Malware Detection Using Additive Explainable Learning”
The paper addresses the growing challenge of memory- and behavior-based malware, which cannot be effectively tackled using traditional methods. By providing precise solutions to one of the most complex software issues, this research contributes significantly to the enhancement of cybersecurity systems
