Al-Hamdaniya University welcomed an Afghan student who was admitted to study as part of the “Study in Iraq” initiative launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to attract Arabs and foreigners wishing to enroll in the country’s universities. The Afghan student was received by the Head of the Arab and Foreign Students Division at the university, Assistant Lecturer Ayman Rahman, who provided the necessary facilities for the incoming student from the time of his arrival in the capital, Baghdad, reflecting the university’s commitment to offering a good educational environment for international students. This step is part of the university’s efforts to support the ministerial initiative aimed at increasing the enrollment of Arab and foreign students in national educational institutions, contributing to the development of academic scientific relations and openness with neighboring and regional countries, considering Iraq as an important cultural and educational center.
