Al-Hamdaniya University Representative Evaluates Flower Nurseries at Mosul Festival: Promoting Environmental Sustainability
Dr. Raghad Adnan Ali, the representative for Women’s Affairs at Al-Hamdaniya University and a member of the Agricultural Engineers Syndicate (Nineveh Branch), participated as a judge on the evaluation committee for agricultural nurseries at the Flower Festival. The event was organized by the Mosul Municipality and held from April 5–7, 2026.
Dr. Raghad took part in evaluating the flowers, plants, and trees showcased by nursery owners at the exhibition, which was hosted at Al-Shaab Park in central Mosul. The festival saw wide participation from various government institutions, departments, and schools—ranging from primary to preparatory levels—as well as universities.
This contribution by Dr. Raghad, representing Al-Hamdaniya University, falls within the university’s broader initiative to engage with both governmental and non-governmental projects. These efforts aim to protect the environment by increasing green spaces and promoting the culture of flower festivals throughout the governorate.
