The University of Cambridge (UK) has selected Asst. Prof. Dr. Assad Ahmed Al-Hussein, Head of the Sensing and Nanophotonics Department at the Laser and Photonics Center, as a member of the Scientific Committee for its upcoming energy conference, “Cambridge Energy Nexus 2026” (LENS26), scheduled to take place from October 20 to 21, 2026.
Dr. Al-Hussein’s selection comes in recognition of his distinguished scientific contributions to the evaluation and publication of research within Scopus-indexed journals. Furthermore, it reflects Al-Hamdaniya University’s commitment to fostering international collaboration with European universities and staying abreast of global scientific advancements in the energy sector.
