Al-Hamdaniya University secured first place for Best Film Screenplay in the “Short Film Competition” hosted this year by Al-Kitab University in Kirkuk, with the participation of more than 40 public and private universities.
The award-winning film was produced by the Department of Artistic Activities under the supervision of Lecturer Mohanad Ramadan Safar, with the oversight of the Director of the Student Activities Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Adnan Hadi Moussa, in collaboration with students from the Department of English at the College of Education for Human Sciences.
This victory is a new addition to the university’s record in national academic competitions. It is part of a broader initiative to develop and nurture student talent, while enhancing scientific and professional performance to remain competitive with peer institutions across various fields.
