Vision: The vision of the Afforestation Unit focuses on improving environmental conditions by raising awareness about the vital importance of planting trees as a key solution to combat desertification and mitigate climate change—including rising temperatures, low rainfall, and frequent dust storms. This is achieved by expanding green spaces and selecting resilient tree species capable of enduring prevailing climatic conditions.

Mission: Acquiring deep knowledge and expertise regarding various types of trees and shrubs, along with their environmental and aesthetic benefits, to foster collaboration with government entities in ways that directly serve and benefit the community.

Goals:

Developing a qualified team capable of planning and executing sustainable development projects, as well as planting trees along public roads and in parks.
Training a workforce skilled in plant propagation methods, seedling care, and identifying optimal planting seasons to maximize green cover.
