Confirming its leadership in providing technological solutions that keep pace with global developments, Al-Hamdaniya University has achieved a new milestone through an innovative study in the field of user preference analysis on social and commercial platforms. This recent applied research was published by Dr. Mohammed Abbas Kadhim, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, in collaboration with Dr. Nora Hashim Mohammed, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the College of Computer Science and Informatics. The study was published in a prestigious international journal ranked in the first quartile (Q1) within the Scopus and Clarivate databases.

This research serves the Iraqi community by supporting projects in various provinces, such as Nineveh, and contributes to several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), most notably: Innovation and Infrastructure (SDG 9), Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11), Responsible Consumption (SDG 12), Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10), and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17). Through this achievement, Al-Hamdaniya University reaffirms its leading position in producing applied scientific research with a tangible impact both locally and globally.
